David started riding motorcycles when he was 15.  He like many others had a layoff from motorcycles during his 20’s and early 30’s while “life happens” but in the last 5-6 years has been reintroduced to his love of motorcycles and the love of riding.  He has a combined experience of approximately 12 years riding and has been an instructor for over 2 years. 

David considers himself a “rider” and has over 100,000 street miles and has toured Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.  Safety and “riding  right” is what David considers his reason for being an instructor, as well as the satisfaction of seeing new riders and old riders learn something new. David likes to say, “There is nothing like the experience of seeing a new rider, one who’s never been on a bike and taking them thru the course and at the end of the day they can honestly say they know how to ride!”.   

David is a long distance rider.  He’s done two “Iron Butt” rides to date and has plans for many more in the future. Along with motorcycling, David is also a private pilot and loves to fly when the urge to leave the ground we ride on strikes him.
