Alfred & Maritia Keeling have been the owners of Longhorn Harley-Davidson since July 2005. This came just a few years after selling another business and retiring in the small town of Hobbs, NM, where they looked forward to spending time with their children & grandchildren. Throw in a little golf and Harley riding and it sounds just about perfect doesn't it?

So, you've got to ask, what would bring a retired businessman and his wife from a small town to relocate to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex?

As a lifelong motorcycle fanatic, Alfred Keeling had owned just about any brand of bike that you could think of, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Ossa, Bultaco...he owned them all, except the bike that eluded him until his 40th birthday. Of course, back in the 90's finding a Harley was quite difficult, it took hours of phone calls and a quick flight on his friends airplane to land his first Harley-Davidson, a Road King.

Even before buying their first Harley-Davidson, Alfred & Maritia had been searching for an opportunity where they would have a sincere love for the business. Alfred had been quoted as saying "My love for Harley-Davidson goes beyond the rumble under the seat to include the history of the company and the lifestyle and characteristics of the riders."

It only made sense that when the opportunity to purchase Longhorn presented itself that they make the move to Grand Prairie and take the dealership from underperformers to one of the top Harley dealers in the world!
