"I bought my 2008 Road King Classic in 02-08 from Steve Anthony. Steve made the sale a great experience for a bike that I had wanted for years. The thing that most impressed me was the service and becoming part of a family that I have had since I bought my bike. Steve has become not only "the guy that I bought my bike from" but a friend that I call just to shoot the crap with at times. Recently I had the back tire and brakes replaced before I took a ride to Arkansas and the Texas Hill Country (Three Sisters). When I returned I saw that there was, what I thought was brake fluid, leaking from my caliper. I called Steve and he sent someone to Red Oak to get my bike. Ron and Chris took care of the problem and saw that one of the shocks was leaking. They replaced the shock at no charge as well as the rear tire. This is only one of the experiences that I have had w/ Longhorn....all of the others are just as positve. " I would like to thank all the sales and support teams at Longhorn... I went in to look around and think about a Touring bike to replace my Duece.... I'm getting too old for a loud, quick, and flashy scooter..... Shane started and tried to sell me.... Very nice guy.... I was not sure yet .... After a test ride I wound up with an Ultra Classic..... Shane was busy as a cat covering up s--- ...So I guess I got Steve Anthony to help me... What a nice and helpful guy.....Multi tasking is his specialty..... But he always had a smile on his face..... Sometimes looked like a frantic smile but it was busy that day too..... "Just completed 60K service on my 2004 ElectraGlide Classic. Hector provided great customer service. Received a call prior to extra repair work (cruise idle cable R&R.) Longhorn contacted Ft.Worth to verify previous maintenance and replaced fork oil and fuel filter which had not previously been done in prior maintenance appts. elsewhere. "Brought in a Heritage Softail Classic, a wreck, I was very fond of. Passed many Harley Dealers on the way to Grand Prairie to get there. I have an HD Dealership less than 2 miles from the crib. They will NEVER touch my bike again, nor get any of my money. Well that bike I rode in 32 states, had to be put down, totaled after many months of going back and forth with the insurance, and Dan at Longhorn. Dan was new, and came on in the middle of the drama. After all said and done, rode of on 5-14-09 on an 09 Rocker C, Pedro HOOKED ME UP! The bike is da bomb! If you haven't rode the Rocker C, with Vance and Hines Big Rads on it, and a Scream'n Eagle kit. What are you waiting for? Much props to LongHorn. "This is an update of my first review. I said my experience could be put to 5 stars and you made it happen. Everything got fixed or is in the process of being fixed. It turns out mine was a common problem with my battery cover coming off and LH Harley has the part on back order, they also gave me a gift card for next time I come in. They give you great support after purchase, when most dealerships only offer support until they get your cash. Thank you so much. Next year I hope to get an 883 for the little wife. Right now she likes riding with me, but after a year on that little back seat I am sure she will want to roll the throttle on her own bike. Once again thank you for your after sales support."

"Well on Feb. 17th.2009 I upgraded! I traded in my 2006 ultra for a new 2009 ultra. It's funny because when my wife and I came by it was to get the horn fixed on my 06 bike. WELL I got it fixed! and it came with a new bike attached!!!! It's the most expensive horn I have ever bought.....lolol. I'm a happy man. First off John Parker [ sales ] did an outstanding job! Everything went so smooth including the ride of the bike! It took about 3 hours to get all the extras on my bike so I got to know John fairly well......he's a good man. "Just wanted to let everyone know what kind of people that work at Longhorn HD. AWESOME!!! You would be extremely hard pressed to find a better caliber of staff. We came in to browse around and look at a couple of bikes that had caught my eye, and the place was packed for an event ( live bands, tons of bikes, good food, good drink....) lots of people roaming around looking at the bikes on the floor. Out of the crowd comes Steve Anthony. He gives me the highlights on the bike I was looking at, but I kept drifting over the the 2009 CVO Springer Softtail ( that yellow was just calling me ) Steve gave me all the info on the bike and I had to make a decision. So home we went, crunched some numbers, and back we went. Steve was helping another customer as we walked in, but waved and let us know he would be right with us. Once he was able to meet us on the floor, I informed him that I was ready to buy the Springer. I had her handle making the service appointment and WOW, you guys really performed! In and out in less than 24 hours. My Sweet Red Angel aka 05 Herritage Softtail had her 30k check up and was ready to roll again. Only one snafu....when I picked her up Mike the Service Tech had not checked off anything on the check list to let me know he really took care of my Red Angel. "I have had my new Dyna FXD for about a month now. I am extremely pleased with it. This was my first Harley buying experience, and the folks at Longhorn set me up just right. I started out talking with Ron, and he steered me toward the FXD. I came in the next day, and Chuck sealed the deal with excellent insight to what I really wanted. I was a metric bike owner before, and had some reservations about getting such a heavy bike. Chuck seemed to know exactly how I was feeling, and educated me on what the big bike experience was all about. Of course you never really know until you get one out on the road, but I feel like I recieved enough insight to make the decision to buy without even a test ride. Bruce took it from there, and sat me down with the manual and spent a good 45min going over it. I was very impressed with how all three of these gentlemen treated the sale as if it was their own. Ringing the big brass bell was a special moment. The service and parts department people took time to introduce themselves with a smile, and finally I was allowed to go home on my new bike. After the first 30 seconds, I knew for sure I had made the right decision."

"I am very satisfied everytime I come to Longhorn. Steve in sales did the impossible. Joseph and Wendy in parts are always willing to answer questions and help with parts and accessories as well as pointing out things that would make the bike really special. The guys in service are great. I had a minor problem with the front fork on my new Dyna. Chris came out and looked at it and immediately took it back to service. In ten minutes, he found me in the parts dept and told me the bike was ready and parked outside. He could have easily waited for me to come back looking for it, but he went the extra mile for the customer. When I brought the bike in for a sticky fork lock, Cole stopped whatever he was doing and came out, looked at the problem and corrected it on the spot. While doing this, we noticed some rubber material had gotten on the exhaust pipe. Cole brought out a rag and a scuff removal stick and cleaned it off for me. It was obvious that he cared about my bike and my concerns. It is a pleasure to do business with Longhorn. I have referred my son to Longhorn and so far, our family has purchased three motorcycles. "Listen up people! Longhorn H-D knows how to treat customers. They do not assume they have your business, they earn your business by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who treat you like a friend or family member, not some statistic with a wallet. Longhorn H-D ought to be cloned by all dealerships and businesses that don't understand customer service in this country...they need to send their staff to Longhorn to get training! I bought an 08 Dyna Super Glide Custom from Steve Anthony who spent days locating the color I really wanted, and never pushed me to buy another color just because it was in the showroom. Customer satisfaction down to the color of the bike! Management, sales, service, parts, clothing...just superior service and people thoughout that modern and large facility. Oh, and they even put prices on their new bikes instead of forcing you to find a salesman to ask, and then face high pressure sales tactics. You can actually browse inventory at Longhorn without being brow-beaten by salesmen like at other dealerships. But at Longhorn there is always someone nearby who is pleasant and knowledgeable to ask questions, and they don't make you feel guilty about asking questions. "Just a short note to thank you guys again. On Friday June 13, 2008 I was headed to meet my friends for the ride down to Austin for the ROT Ralley when my Streetglide died on me. I called my local HD dealership, and was told it would probably be the following Tuesday before they could look at my bike. Discouraged, I decided to have my SG towed to Longhorn fully expecting it to be there for the weekend. Upon arrival I went into service and told Trent of my trouble and he immediately went out to check out the problem. One of the service techs came out, I believe it was Cody, and proceeded to diagnose the problem. He took off the gas cap and listened inside the tank and told me it had a collapsed fuel filter. Talk about someone knowing what they are doing. He rolled my bike into the Service department and a very short time later I was on my way to Austin. Thanks to these guys my weekend was not ruined. This place is not just another HD dealership but truely brothers helping brothers. This is the only place I will go from now on. I live less than 4 miles from my local dealer but I will be more than happy to make the half hour trip to Longhorn. I would also like to thank Wendy in parts. "Good Morning! Thought I'd drop this line commenting on the GREAT SERVICE I received from your parts counter...primarily Roy Becker and Wendy Genoway. I was shopping for a part thru another dealership's inventory....was advised they didn't have it in stock. I was not suprised...fact being it was a painted part. This dealership's rep did a 'search'....informed me that your dealership had one in inventory....gave me the location and phone number. Upon calling, I initially talked with Roy. He did the search...confirmed one was in stock....THEN went to physically verify. After discussing HOW I could purchase this item, I went to work (graveyards) assured the part was being held 'with my name on it'. Roy informed me he'd not be in on Friday (05/02/2008), and to ask for Wendy. The next morning I called....Wendy took the necessary information to complete the purchase, returned a call with the amount total, THEN returned another call with a UPS tracking number. AWESOME PEOPLE those two. To make a long story short, I feel a dealership with employees like Roy and Wendy is responsible...down right DESERVING of my future business. "Longhorn Harley Davidson has always been a great dealership. All aspects of the dealership to include sales, service and the accessory department have always been a pleasent experience. Everytime I brought my 2006 Road King Classic in for service I was amazed on the quality of the customer service and felt that Longhorn really cares about every customer. When I brought my Road King in for the 20,000 mile service, the reception was less than desireable and the service I received on my bike was not satisfactory. I imeadiality assumed that since Longhorn moved to a big facility and business is great, now they just became another Harley Dealer like the ones we have in the Metroplex. I left very disipointed and started the process to try and find a shop where I could get good service for my Road King. When the Longhorn management found out about the service and treatment I received I was contacted by Shane and he imeadiatally offered to make everything right. Longhorn picked up my bike at my work, preformed the service I requested and delivered the bike to me when I got off work. My Road King now runs like it is brand new and every issue I had with the bike has been taken care of. Longhorn Harley Davidson is still my Dealer of Choice. My wife found your article in the Panache Magazine and told me to come down and see your facility in action. "Maritia, Alfred, Shane, Chuck; Series of Events: April / 2007 - Byron Mitchell (my son-in-law) purchased a new bike from you. When I came down there to see it I met Alfred and Shane. Alfred you appraised my bike at $10,000, 3 hours after a competing dealership (2.0 miles from my place of employment) offered me $7000. Last year I took my bike to another competing dealership (8 miles from my home) and they offered me $6000 and told me that there wasn't much demand for an "Anniversary" Bike. April - July / 2007 - Chuck contacted me a couple of times about getting together on a bike, but I was trying to refinance my home and wasn't willing to proceed until that was complete. August / 2007 - Saw the Ultra w/ the side car on your used bike website and drove to your dealership the next day to see it. August 24, 2007 - Sat down with Chuck and Shane to discuss trade-in-values, accessories and overall pricing options. Got conditional financing approval that night. Didn't have my bike with me, so didn't firm the trade offer. I was offered a little less by Shane than Alfred orignally indicated, but I also knew that the "08's were now out, so the bike was another year older. Saturday, August 25, 2007 - I drove my bike to your dealership with the intention of leaving it until the new bike was ready with the accessories and new side cover wheel. Chuck informed me that the bike would be ready for me to take home the same day with the exception of the wheel. My bike was looked at and it appraised like was indicated on the previous night. My wife joined me at the delearship and was allowed a pick out a womens' top rather than a T-shirt, with no additional charge to us. We traveled 50 miles to deal with Longhorn HD rather than with 2 other dealerships that were more convenient. This was because of the way we felt we were treated and would be treated in the future. Friday, September 21,2007 - Received the glass picture of my bike w/ card. BLEW ME AWAY!!!!!!!!! When my wife told our daughter about it, she said "You'd have thought that he had won the lottery." While the plaque was unique, it was the gesture that overwhelmed me. "It is sorta a hobby of mine to visit any Harley dealership that I happen to drive by. I am new to the metro-plex and have gone to many in the area. I am glad that I found Longhorn. You see, my wife and I are from East Texas and we felt very close to our Harley dealership in Longview. People were genuinely interested in us, on and off the bikes. "Wow what a GREAT experience!!! We just went to look at a Harley and we were overwhelmed by the selection and great way we were treated. Alfred was outside and immediately assisted us when we were looking at the bikes. He answered our questions and gave us a card. "I have been super impressed with the customer service attitude exhibited by every employee at Long Horn. The first time I came in I was helped by Shane. I explained that I was not there to buy but just look at some different models and in fact did not have my license at that time. Eventhough, he knew I was not buying, he spent the better part of an hour with me answering questions and showing me around the dealership. The second and third time I came in, Ron helped me because Shane was not available. Again, I was just looking with no intention of buying. Ron was very helpful in answering my questions and my wife's questions. He went the extra step in asking his wife to call mine for lady to lady questions. "I just wanted to commend your service dept for excellent service (particularly Hector and Greg). I was riding on a trip recently on my way from Houston to Canada when my check engine light came on intermittently. I called Hector when I was about 2 hours away. He said they were very busy, but to bring it in and they would find out what the problem was. When my riding buddies and I pulled into Longhorn HD, he immediately had a look at it and took it to Greg to find out the problem. It turned out to be a minor problem (plug wire) that was throwing the diagnostic code. Greg fixed it right away and my buddies and I were back on the road within about 15 minutes. I really appreciate you guys taking the time to help a biker out that is on the road and travelling. Not all dealers do that. As a matter of fact that same morning, before calling Longhorn HD, I had wasted 3-1/2 hrs at a dealership north of Houston that kept telling me they would look at it, but continually put me off. I came to your shop last Wednesday, May 3rd in need of two new tires and met Brett at my appointed time, he was very friendly and helpful. Greg was the service tech on the job, very knowledgable. I have to say that since the change last year attitudes have changed for the better at Longhorn. I was completely satisfied with the service and work performed. Greg even found a problem with my drivebelt that had remained hidden to me. I would say that he saved my bacon by finding and repairing my problem. My wife and I started our search for our first Harley on Friday at your location (Longhorn H-D) and talked with Pruitt Jones. Pruitt took the time to get to know us and our wants and needs and allowed us time to talk and go home to think about this purchase. After sleeping on it we returned on Saturday and Mr Jones once again was more than happy to help us in finding our first Harley (Ultra Classic) with no pressure in the purchase at anytime of the sale and took us by the hand and lead us through the finance and all the paperwork and hassels that come with a purchase of a new car, truck, or bike. I bought a used 08 Dyna from LHD and returned when I outgrew it.
I have a HD dealership two miles from my house, but chose LHD at the recommendation of several people and they were right.
I bought my 09 Fatboy from Shane Keeling and he was great to deal with. I got a lot of help from Don the Chrome guy on add ons and Mark in the Parts Dept. was excellent in getting the items ordered and setting the install up.
Chris in Service is really great to deal with, he was always pleasant and very helpful.
I have to admit, I was a metric rider for many years and was a little intimidated by entering the HD market, but everyone at LHD has made me feel at ease and glad to now be a HD owner.
Everytime I come in the store, I am greeted and am offered help with anything I need.

I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent service I received from the "Service" department. I had a intermittent problem with a 07 FLHTC running rough and stalling. The problem was difficult to isolate as it did not show a code, but your tech (Nate) hung in there until he found the problem, running fine now. Good job Nate!
In the past I have purchased high dollar items which have a tendency to make you a little nervous. The deal at Longhorn was so easy it was unreal. I told Shane over the phone what I needed to do with my trade, the overall deal, etc. Shane said, “I will make it happen!" When I got to Longhorn he did exactly what he said he would do. Shane and my salesman Chance made me feel very glad I had come to Longhorn. The overall layout of the dealership is great, clean, well planned, and everyone there makes you feel comfortable. The new 2011 103 cubic inches street glide that I bought is nice Harley did a
great job on it. I built Harley choppers when I was young and quality like then counts now. I can't wait to get some custom parts at the Harley house to put on my new bike to personalize it! I love Harley's and always will it is a way of life! My wife, daughter, and I will enjoy this bike for many miles to come.
Unfortunately I purchased my 2008 Street Glide @ Texas Harley, but couldn't get serviced.
So I came to Longhorn Harley and they got me in quick. Then on another occassion they were having a Saturday Party (crowded), and I wanted to buy the airhorns for my bike. I asked the service dept "If I buy these today can you put them on now?". The service dept. checked their schedule and said they would squeeze me in today.
Well that sold me on them as a dealership. I have been going there every since. I highly recommend them because they have treated me like family even though I bought my bike somewhere else. They have always gone out of their way to get things done when I needed it done, and the dealership I bought the bike at just treated me like a number, and servicing after purchasing wasn't important. I hope
they do change in the future, but it doesn't matter to me, as my next purchase will be this year from Longhorn Harley ONLY. Great dealership run by great people that are always concerned about their family of customers.

My 03 883R was on my trailer returning from riding in the dessert in Az on vacation when run off the road totaling all, Truck, Trailer, Bike. Brought bike in for insurance estimate (Ron) who promptly got it ffloaded (even though it was close to quitting time), he met with my claims adjuster and took care of everything needed,upon getting my settlement I hustled back in to purchase my New (to me) bike from Chance who is the best HD salesperson I have ever dealt with(I've owned 4 Sportsters 72, 74, 03 and now an 00 1200C,as usual everyone at the dealer was friendly, helpfull, went out of their way to get me back in the saddle. Your Dealership is the tops in my book,while waiting for my bike to get prepped Hector even worked in an Inspection on my spare bike(Ducati) Parts, Service, sales, don't know how the other dealers in the metro area stay in business. Well, I had a check engine light pop on in my gauge cluster. I took my Night Train in and left it to the service department to fix. My bike was took better care of than expected, fixed promptly, and even delivered back to my home. I think they also washed the thing too.. Everyone I talked to was friendly, respectful, and I got a feeling they went out of their way for me and I wasn't just another customer. I have found a dealership to deal with close to home now. These guys are gonna get my buisiness from here on out. Overall a wonderful experience and with the care they treated my bike, I would almost trust em with my wife..

I have purchased three motorcycles from Longhorn Harley Davidson and have found the experience 5-Star in every way. Their service and parts department are staffed by experienced and pleasant individuals always willing to ensure the best customer service possible.
Most recently I had my 2007 Street Glide in for new wheels, tires and brake rotors. After a long discussion, I went with their recommendations all the way. The work was performed flawlessly and the improvement in the bike's handling is most noteworthy. I greatly respect the owners Alfred and Shane Keeling, and take my hat off to Billy in the Service Department, Tory and Don in the Parts Department, and the young ladies that staff the Check Out Counter for their pleasantries.
Having visited many Harley Davidson Dealerships in my trips, I don't know any other dealership that can compare.

Longhorn Harley is the only place to purchase. My salesguy, Gregg G. was sure
to explain any and all aspects of the sale, including the "GAP" insurance.His
comment of;" it's not IF you go down, it's WHEN you go down", put a little
shake in me, but,4 months after purchasing the "GAP", I got hit by an
uninsured idiot( woops), I mean motorist that totalled my bike, and bruised
me up a bit. The experience, as bad as it COULD have been, was a blessing by
the way EVERYONE at Longhorn, and the insurance company handled my claim. If
you're on the fence to buy, go ahead on and have confidence these are the
guys to buy from.
I have been a Longhorn parts and chrome customer for a number of years so when it came time to buy a new Harley I got in touch with them on the internet. Richie, in sales, got back with me and we began a very pleasant
buying process. I put him through his paces and he never got frustrated or acted annoyed. I shopped some other dealers and they all had to work to match Longhorn's prices.....some got close but the point is that they had to

I have dealt with Longhorn HD for several years, new purchases, service, parts etc. They also redid my 92 big twin motor, every one there from top to bottom are the best imho there is only one hd shop it is longhorn wouldnt use any other shop.

My instructors, Bob and Kyle were great teachers. They were informative, covered all important details and very knowledgable. I would highly recommend to anyone who is interested or needs to take a course to go through Longhorn HD, because of the wonderful experience I had, and the level of professionalism and experienced instructors offered.
I just wanted to extend a sincere thank you to you & your service staff. My wife & i just got married last sat & rode our Harley UC down here to Tx on our way to S. Padre. Half way down here I noticed a leak coming from the outer primary cover. We stopped into your shop today (24th) to have it fixed & one of the guys behind the service counter said he'd be able to get us right in even though u were busy. He told us it wouldnt take long to fix & we'd be on our way & thats exactly what happened. After they were done fixing the bike they washed it! As you can imagine, riding all that way with oil leaking made quite a mess & if you knew how meticulous I am about keeping my bike clean it was just one more thing that made the trip to your shop/dealership even more of a pleasure. PLEASE let everyone in your shop know how grateful my wife & I are to you & the service you provide to us riders. I will let everyone know if they're ever in the area to stop by.

I recently bought my first bike from Longhorn HD. Everyone at the dealership was great. I attended the Boot Camp and it was very informative and the staff was genuinely concerned about each individual participant's needs and
concerns. The next day I bought my bike. I worked with Greg, but also Frank and Al spent a lot of time with me when Greg was unavailable. I really felt like all of them wanted to help me select the best bike for me - no pressure
or trying to influence me to buy something more expensive. It was a very fun and pleasant experience. Al and Frank were very helpful and Greg was really great to work with. They delivered my bike to my home. Everything went so smooth. Cindy and Cat and all the other ladies were very helpful and attentive to my needs and wants. Had my 07 Nightster serviced last week and was very pleased with the work done. Talked to Kevin while my bike was being serviced and came back in Friday and purchased a 2013 Wideglide and could'nt be Happier. Kevin is an Excellent salesman who made the whole purchase process pain free. The man deserves a raise. The whole buying experience was a pleasure and I will be back for all my accessories. I'm happy in the wind.
I just want to comment on the class and the instructors for the Rider's Edge class that I attended on 5/2 thru 5/5.
Both instructors, Bob and Kyle, were professional and offered a lot of insight into riding motorcycles for experienced and inexperience riders. The classroom portions were kept interesting (as much as possible) and the riding portion was safe and helpful.
I think it's a good program and both instructors did a great job with the entire class
Longhorn HD is great. All of the employees are so nice and courteous and helpful, whether the sales folks, service department, apparel department or parts - everyone was very helpful and had a good attitude.They all seemed like they genuinely enjoyed their jobs.
I bought my first motorcycle about a month ago and Longhord HD was very helpful in helping me pick out a bike that was right for me (feel, fit, etc.). I am a motorcycle novice and no one made me feel like an idiot. I just finished the Riders Edge Program and it was well worth the time - I learned a lot and I have much more confidence now and I am ready to ride! The owners are really down to earth people, not pretentious and very accessible. Cindy was a big help with a lot of stuff including Riders Edge. I attended Boot Camp first, and I was hooked!

I have purchased two motorcycles from Longhorn Harley Davidson. I currently own a 2008 Softail Springer Crossbones purchased from Longhorn and have had custom parts put on the bike. All servicing on the bike have been with Longhorn. The customer service and friendly nature of the staff is excellent. The parts manager Toy as always exceeds expectation and goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of the customer. As a combat veteran of both Afghanistan and Iraq, I can be hard to please but at Longhorn I feel like family and I always recommend this dealership as well as Tory the Parts Manager whenever someone is interested a motorcycle or parts. My wife bought a Harley tryke thru the military sales program while in Afghanistan. Longhorn H D was the dealer selected to provide delivery.
We both retired on Aug 30 and she was able to get the tryke to our office to surprise me as part of our ceremony. Pedro worked with my wife so one of our friends could drive it out there and by keeping the details all top secret.
Since we are first time riders Longhorn has kept out tryke until yesterday Sept 23 until I completed the safety class and updated my license. Cindy was sure I was enrolled and followed up to be sure the training went well. Brian Box did an excellent job showing me the tryke and how to ride correctly in the course..
Hector and the service team did some warranty work and installed some armrests while it was stored there so it would be ready when I was.
The clothing team ensured our equipment fit correctly and was what we needed.All in all for first time riders everyone at Longhorn made this a great experience !!
