"Good Morning!
Thought I'd drop this line commenting on the GREAT SERVICE I received from your parts counter...primarily Roy Becker and Wendy Genoway.
I was shopping for a part thru another dealership's inventory....was advised they didn't have it in stock. I was not suprised...fact being it was a painted part. This dealership's rep did a 'search'....informed me that your dealership had one in inventory....gave me the location and phone number.
Upon calling, I initially talked with Roy. He did the search...confirmed one was in stock....THEN went to physically verify. After discussing HOW I could purchase this item, I went to work (graveyards) assured the part was being held 'with my name on it'. Roy informed me he'd not be in on Friday (05/02/2008), and to ask for Wendy. The next morning I called....Wendy took the necessary information to complete the purchase, returned a call with the amount total, THEN returned another call with a UPS tracking number. AWESOME PEOPLE those two.
To make a long story short, I feel a dealership with employees like Roy and Wendy is responsible...down right DESERVING of my future business. Please commend these two on their excellent professional skills, knowledge, and willingness to 'please this customer'. In this day and time, people like Roy and Wendy are few and far between.

"They are a team at this location. They take you around and introduce you to others and you come in and they know you. They are very helpful and friendly. They must have daily meetings and bring everyone at the dealership on new customers and old customer’s so they are up to date. I cannot speak more highly on the professionalism. "In FEB 2006 I bought my first Harley. Chuck was the sales person that help me. I had been stopping by Longhorn for many weeks and talking to Chuck. He never pressure me to buy, he said I like to sale Harleys because it fun and when you buy one you will be in a whole new family. Well it is TRUE, Now I stop by every chance I get. It like my other home.

"Longhorn Harley Davidson has always been a great dealership. All aspects of the dealership to include sales, service and the accessory department have always been a pleasent experience. Everytime I brought my 2006 Road King Classic in for service I was amazed on the quality of the customer service and felt that Longhorn really cares about every customer. When I brought my Road King in for the 20,000 mile service, the reception was less than desireable and the service I received on my bike was not satisfactory. I imeadiality assumed that since Longhorn moved to a big facility and business is great, now they just became another Harley Dealer like the ones we have in the Metroplex. I left very disipointed and started the process to try and find a shop where I could get good service for my Road King. When the Longhorn management found out about the service and treatment I received I was contacted by Shane and he imeadiatally offered to make everything right. Longhorn picked up my bike at my work, preformed the service I requested and delivered the bike to me when I got off work. My Road King now runs like it is brand new and every issue I had with the bike has been taken care of. Longhorn Harley Davidson is still my Dealer of Choice. This dealership really does strive to have satisfied customers. Even though I may have caught someone on a bad day or an extreamly busy time when I needed service, Shane and his staff went out of their way to correct any issues that I had. Thank you!

"Longhorn has the biggest selection to choose from and offers more options on there bikes right there on the show room floor than any other dealer we've been to. We bought 2 bikes from Chuck at Longhorn, first a 2007 Ultra Classic and then my wife bought a Fatboy 4 month later. You just don't come back for seconds if you don't love the place and the people, and we do. We tell everyone who is in the market for a Harley to go see Chuck and Shane at Longhorn. They're the best. After the sale, the owners of Longhorn Harley don't forget you, special letters, plaques, and birthday cards, etc. make us feel special. If you want the best service for your Harley, see Hector at Longhorn. Hector makes sure we get taken care of "First Class". We are treated like VIP's by everyone and always feel welcome. "I just waned to write to you on how great your sales representatives are at your facility. I have been looking for the Harley for 6 months now trying to find the best dealership in the Metroplex. My wife found your article in the Panache Magazine and told me to come down and see your facility in action. I am in the process of buying a Road King Classic and Kevin Pate spent 45 minutes showing my son and I the two you had on the floor. He went through all of the specs, showed me the Reinhardt exhausts system, chrome, started the engines, offered to let me test ride one and was just very down to earth.
I can tell you that I have been to HD of North Texas, Texas HD and Ft. Worth HD and you have the premier dealership in the Metroplex.
I will be buying a Road King Classic (Vivid Black with the Reinhardt exhaust system)over the next two weeks and I will be back to buy it from Kevin."

Series of Events:
April / 2007 - Byron Mitchell (my son-in-law) purchased a new bike from you. When I came down there to see it I met Alfred and Shane. Alfred you appraised my bike at $10,000, 3 hours after a competing dealership (2.0 miles from my place of employment) offered me $7000. Last year I took my bike to another competing dealership (8 miles from my home) and they offered me $6000 and told me that there wasn't much demand for an "Anniversary" Bike.
April - July / 2007 - Chuck contacted me a couple of times about getting together on a bike, but I was trying to refinance my home and wasn't willing to proceed until that was complete.
August / 2007 - Saw the Ultra w/ the side car on your used bike website and drove to your dealership the next day to see it.
August 24, 2007 - Sat down with Chuck and Shane to discuss trade-in-values, accessories and overall pricing options. Got conditional financing approval that night. Didn't have my bike with me, so didn't firm the trade offer. I was offered a little less by Shane than Alfred orignally indicated, but I also knew that the "08's were now out, so the bike was another year older.
Saturday, August 25, 2007 - I drove my bike to your dealership with the intention of leaving it until the new bike was ready with the accessories and new side cover wheel. Chuck informed me that the bike would be ready for me to take home the same day with the exception of the wheel. My bike was looked at and it appraised like was indicated on the previous night. My wife joined me at the delearship and was allowed a pick out a womens' top rather than a T-shirt, with no additional charge to us. We traveled 50 miles to deal with Longhorn HD rather than with 2 other dealerships that were more convenient. This was because of the way we felt we were treated and would be treated in the future.
Friday, September 21,2007 - Received the glass picture of my bike w/ card. BLEW ME AWAY!!!!!!!!! When my wife told our daughter about it, she said "You'd have thought that he had won the lottery." While the plaque was unique, it was the gesture that overwhelmed me.
Tuesday, September 25, 2007 - I want you ALL to know how pleased I am with the relationship you have cultivated with my wife and myself. I will tell everyone that asks me where to go for a bike "Go to Longhorn." They will treat you as if you are coming into their family. Prior to moving to Texas in 2000, I worked at the Saturn Plant in Spring Hill, TN for 10+ years. I've felt that the one thing that Saturn tried to get right from the start, was placing the customer first. Customer service was priority one. I believe that you have/are/will develope customer service to new levels and to that end you will have my wife and I as loyal customers. Thank you!!!!!!!!

"It is sorta a hobby of mine to visit any Harley dealership that I happen to drive by. I am new to the metro-plex and have gone to many in the area. I am glad that I found Longhorn. You see, my wife and I are from East Texas and we felt very close to our Harley dealership in Longview. People were genuinely interested in us, on and off the bikes. Since moving here, I was contemplating a trade or purchase but just couldn't find what I wanted or find who I wanted to do business with. No one wanted to even know our names. No one had a personality. No one had a smile for us as we came in the doors. Coming to Longhorn Harley was such a pleasant surprise. I was greeted the way we wer always greeted at "home". Before I knew it, I was introduced to several people in the Longhorn family and was told of the new move to the new facility. Believe it or not, as I shopped around and Chuck showed me around, I just happen to find the bike that I felt I had been looking for. Coincidence? Maybe. But its funny how things like this workout. It is all in the attitude and everyone's so positive. Chuck had the answers to all my questions and made me believe that this could happen. He worked tirelessly to accomodate me and make this a smooth, worryfree experience. He took care of all the details. I ended up making the deal on the day after the staff had made the big move down the street. It was a huge undertaking and I was wondering if I should give them a few more days to get things together. But...my wife and I went over and as busy as they all were, every employee that we saw took a minute to visit and talk and make us feel welcome. It was unbelieveable.
The deal was done, the bell was rung, and ovations were heard all over the facility. (The bell was still in the box and not hung yet!)
What a joyful experience! I applaud you all for your dedication first....to your customers! It is truely felt and appreciated and you will be more successful than anyone else in the area because of this. It also helps to have a good personality! It helps to be able to laugh in all situations!

"Wow what a GREAT experience!!! We just went to look at a Harley and we were overwhelmed by the selection and great way we were treated. Alfred was outside and immediately assisted us when we were looking at the bikes. He answered our questions and gave us a card. We were about to leave when we decided to go back and talk to Alfred again. He suggested we go ahead and fill out a credit app. No pressure at all. We filled out the app, left to go grocery shopping and we had 2 items in our cart when we got the call we were approved. We left the store (without our items) and flew to Longhorn Harley and within the hour were signing the papers for our new Softail Heritage Harley. We needed a seat, they produced a seat. We needed back footpegs, they provided foot pegs. Even though they were closing, they stayed to install what we needed and finish our sale and we drove away in less that 2 hours. What great customer service. I HIGHLY recommend Longhorn Harley for a wonderful experiance in buying a harley!!!!!"

"I personally have never had an experience like I have had w/Longhorn. After a couple of days of my bike purchase I ventured on in to look at goodies and such. I was introduced to some more people that I wasn't introduced to when the sale of my bike was final. Leaving with a smile on my face I looked forward to my next visit. The next visit was just a couple of days later. I ran into many of the same people that I had met days before and was quite impressed when they called me by name when they said HI and how ya doin. When I bought my bike I was told that its a big family at Longhorn, they couldn't have been more right. Years ago I went in to buy a T-shirt for a relative and was very disappointed by the people that were there at the time. Things have changed so much since that day. Chuck to me is not a salesman he's a great guy with a great love for bikes and people. Chuck never pressured me into anything and has always had an answer to any question I have had. I now have some partiality towards Chuck but everyone there is somebody I'd love to sit down next to and have a cold beer with. I don't just recommend Longhorn I highly recommend them. Longhorn is heading in the right direction and I don't think it will be long before they surpass all the others. I can't wait to really get involved with the rides and events that Longhorn is behind. "I have been super impressed with the customer service attitude exhibited by every employee at Long Horn. The first time I came in I was helped by Shane. I explained that I was not there to buy but just look at some different models and in fact did not have my license at that time. Eventhough, he knew I was not buying, he spent the better part of an hour with me answering questions and showing me around the dealership. The second and third time I came in, Ron helped me because Shane was not available. Again, I was just looking with no intention of buying. Ron was very helpful in answering my questions and my wife's questions. He went the extra step in asking his wife to call mine for lady to lady questions. On the third trip Ron showed me the bike I wound up buying.
New experience, bought the bike without any high pressure sales tactics used by the dealer for extended warranties, accessories, etc. I don't think I have ever bought any type of vehicle without having to tell the F&I dept that I did not want extended warranties, or whatever, several times. Not so with Shane, he asked if I wanted an extended warranty, answered my questions and waited for my answer. No pressure = great experience, no haggling.
I have been back several times for accessories and received great service and great advice. The friendliest group of employees I have ever dealt with. Quite a rarity in North Texas.
I am recommending Long Horn to all my friends. In fact, I have already brought one in to look at buying a Harley.
I plan on doing business here for years to come."

"I just wanted to commend your service dept for excellent service (particularly Hector and Greg). I was riding on a trip recently on my way from Houston to Canada when my check engine light came on intermittently. I called Hector when I was about 2 hours away. He said they were very busy, but to bring it in and they would find out what the problem was. When my riding buddies and I pulled into Longhorn HD, he immediately had a look at it and took it to Greg to find out the problem. It turned out to be a minor problem (plug wire) that was throwing the diagnostic code. Greg fixed it right away and my buddies and I were back on the road within about 15 minutes.
I really appreciate you guys taking the time to help a biker out that is on the road and travelling. Not all dealers do that. As a matter of fact that same morning, before calling Longhorn HD, I had wasted 3-1/2 hrs at a dealership north of Houston that kept telling me they would look at it, but continually put me off.

I came to your shop last Wednesday, May 3rd in need of two new tires and met Brett at my appointed time, he was very friendly and helpful. Greg was the service tech on the job, very knowledgable. I have to say that since the change last year attitudes have changed for the better at Longhorn. I was completely satisfied with the service and work performed.
